What supplies do I need for paint-outs?
While supplies will vary from artist to artist, always remember "LESS IS MORE".
The London Plein Air Group does not have set supply list. Rather, it is up to the individual artist to decide what to bring to paint-outs. Supplies could range from just a sketch book and pencil to a more elaborate set up for painting. The following is a list of possible supplies. Feel free to review and pick and choose what might work for you. |
Important non-art supplies
- Something to drink and a snack - Sun screen - Bug replant - Wear layers of clothing - A bag for garbage (for things such as paper towels, etc) - A camera (or smart phone) to take photos - in case you want to finish your art work at home - Something to sit on such as a light foldable stool or chair |
